  This competition is organized in the name of the two extraordinary young swimmers, who have lost their lives in the early eighties - Špela in a plane crash and Vesna in a car accident. Both swimmers were top rated Triglav female swimmers in the late seventies and members of the national swimming team.

  The Natatorium features an in-door 50-meter swimming pool and a 1.000 spectator seating. The competition pool is 25 meters wide and fits 8 competition lanes. The pool is 2,2 meters deep and the water temperature is 26.5 °C. The Natatorium consists of another 16 x 9 meters pool, which also serves as a warm-down pool.
Rules and regulations: PZS Swimming Rules and Regulations will govern the conduct of these Championships and will serve as the official guide for technical and procedural rules. It shall be the swimmers’ and coaches’ responsibility to acquaint themselves with all of the information regarding this meet.

Participants: Domestic swimmers
Domestic swimmers must be registered at PZS (Slovenian Swimming Association) and fulfilling the PZS Rules and Regulations for the swimming season 2014/2015. 

Foreign swimmers
All foreign athletes will be allowed to swim at this competition (except athletes, whose national teams are not members of FINA or LEN).
 
Entry fee: 5€ per individual event
Deadline: Wednesday, 19th of November 2014 (LENEX file preffered).
Cancelations: Wednesday, 19th of November 2014.
Only cancelations for the events 800 in 1500 meters freestyle are possible on each day before competition starts.
Additional information:

Organizer can change meet rules and regulations in the event of 800 and 1500 meters freestyle, limiting number of entries up to 2 fastest heats (16 top seeded swimmers).

Part of the swimming pool will be available for warm-up.

Medals:

  • A medal ceremony will be conducted for the top three place winners in each individual category.
  • Top 3 male and female swimmers in memorial events (800m / 1500m freestyle and 100m butterfly) will receive Memorial cups.
