• heats:   at 9.00 am (9.00 hrs)
• finals:   at 6.00 pm (18.00 hrs)
• warming-ups:   at 8.00 am and at 5.00 pm (8.00 hrs and 17.00 hrs)
• official opening ceremony:    Thursday, 31.7.2014 at 17.45 hrs

Summer Open National Championships of Slovenia 2014 consists of three championships at the same time:

• Open National Championships of Slovenia
• Slovenian Junior Championship
• Slovenian Youth Championships

Awarding with medals is triple:

1. for the bearers of the titles* of the Open National Championships of Slovenia
2. for the bearers of the titles* of the Slovenian Junior Championships
3. for the bearers of the titles* of the Slovenian Youth Championships

Youth, Junior, Senior - competitors from Slovenia only
Absolute - open for all competitiors

• HEATS:
  The morning individual competition qualification heats for the Open Championships will be formed according to the open i.e. all ages principle. In1500m freestyle (m/w) and 800m freestyle (m/w) disciplines, groups will be formed according to principle of submitted individual results and the 16th clause of the SSA's propositions. Groups with best results will swim only in the afternoon parts of the championships. Other groups will swim after finished morning heats of the Day 2 (800m freestyle (m/w)) and Day 4 (1500m freestyle (m/w)). Individual competition cancellations for 800m and 1500m freestyle are only possible before beginning of the qualification program of the Day 2 or Day 4.
• Relays:
  Youth and Junior Relays swim right after morning qualification heats of the Championships. In these parts, Youth and Junior Relays compete for the titles of national champions. For them the absolute ranking of achieved time results (final placing according time results, no matter in which group they swim) is valid.
  ** In the Day4 Youth and Junior Relays will swim before morning 1500m freestyle (m/w) events.
• FINALS:
  Individual competitions:At the beginning “closed” Youth and Junior (A only) finals will be performed, followed by the Absolute Open Finals (for which also swimmers from Youth and Junior categories could qualify).
  In the case that 6 or more competitors from abroad will be qualified for the finals, additional B finals will be organized for those disciplines (if there will be 14 or more foreign competitors in both finals, also C finals will be organized).
  Relays in Absolute category will swim only in the afternoon finals, with submitted time results from last summer or winter Open National Championships 2009. Absolute ranking will be according to the achieved time results (final placing according time results, no matter in which group they swim). According to the Slovene swimm ing  associatio n’s  (SSA)  rules  and  regulatio ns,  te am s  from   Slo venia   can only participate in relay events of the Championships.
  
  Awarding ceremonies in the individual disciplines for the Open, Junior and Youth championships will be in the afternoon parts.
• Obligations of participating clubs (teams):
  Swimmers compete on their own responsibility. Participating teams are responsible for safety and insurance of their members.
